Day 1 Arrival and transfers
After check out procedures at JKIA airport you will meet our representatives from Bella safaris who will pick up you for a transfer to your comfortable hotel for overnight stay.
Meal plan {Bed and Breakfast}
Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early in the morning, you will be picked up in hotel by the driver/guide and provide a briefing on your safari before we depart for Masai Mara.
Great Rift Valley stop-over
Travel time to Mara will take around 5-6 hrs. Along the way, there will be a stopover at the Great Rift Valley where you can take photos of the sheer drop of the Rift Valley, as well as the nearby Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot.
Upon arrival at Mara, you can settle in and have your lunch. Rest before proceeding to an afternoon game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight stay
Day 3: Full Day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives
Enjoy an early morning game drive with further opportunities to see the superb wildlife, followed by breakfast at the lodge, or take an early morning hot air balloon ride over the Mara followed by a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast (optional extra). A second game drive will take place in the late afternoon or alternatively opt for a full day game viewing to explore its immense wildlife. Our experienced tour guide/ driver will take you in search for the famous Big 5 among other animals: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Hyena, Cheetah, Jackal, Warthog, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope wildebeest, and various bird species. Picnic lunch will be served at Mara River as you witness the famous migration.
Dinner and overnight stay
Day 4: Masai Mara – full day
After breakfast depart for morning game drives in the afternoon Visit to a Masai Village*
An optional visit to a Masai village can be arranged after the game drive. Masai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. This visit gives a good tour of Masai culture and you will be welcomed with a sing and dance presentation, which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.
Dinner and overnight stay {BLD}
DAY 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi – Kenya
We start the day with an early morning game drive from 6.30am to 9.00am you might be lucky to witness hunting. At an extra cost A bush breakfast can be arranged followed by a visit to the Maasai village to conclude your Maasai Mara safari experience. We depart from our safari lodge/camp at 10a.m and take an en-route game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve on day three. Then we return to bustling Nairobi, arriving at about 16:00 in the afternoon. This unforgettable 4-Day Masai Mara Safari ends upon arrival back in Nairobi where you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight
