3 Days, 2 Nights Safari Itinerary to Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp (Rail Package)
Day 1: Train Journey to Voi & Transfer to Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp
- 07:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Arrival at Nairobi SGR Train Station. Check-in for your scenic train journey to Voi on the Nairobi-Mombasa SGR line.
- 08:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Train journey from Nairobi to Voi. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes, passing through the vast Tsavo National Park. Light refreshments or snacks available on the train.
- 12:30 PM – 01:00 PM: Arrival at Voi Station. Meet a representative for a 1.5-hour road transfer to Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp.
- 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Check-in and lunch at Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp. Enjoy a warm welcome and a delicious lunch surrounded by the wild beauty of the camp’s setting.
- 03:00 PM – 03:30 PM: Leisure and relaxation. Settle into your luxurious tent or relax in the camp’s lounge area.
- 03:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Afternoon game drive. Embark on your first safari drive in the Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Enjoy sundowner drinks in the bush as the day ends with a stunning sunset.
- 07:00 PM – 08:30 PM: Dinner at the camp. Savor a gourmet dinner under the stars, embracing the serenity of the wilderness.
- 08:30 PM onwards: Evening relaxation. Unwind by the campfire or relax on your private deck, listening to the sounds of the African night.

Day 2: Full Day Safari Experience & Cultural Visit
- 05:30 AM – 06:00 AM: Early wake-up and light refreshments.
- 06:00 AM – 09:00 AM: Sunrise game drive. The early morning is the best time to spot predators like lions and cheetahs, along with herds of elephants and other wildlife. Return to camp for breakfast.
- 09:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp.
- 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Optional guided nature walk or village visit. Take a guided nature walk to explore the smaller creatures and plants of the savannah, or visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions.
- 12:30 PM – 01:30 PM: Lunch at the camp.
- 01:30 PM – 03:30 PM: Leisure time. Rest during the afternoon or lounge by the pool (if available), taking in the breathtaking views around you.
- 03:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Afternoon game drive. Venture out again for an evening game drive, searching for elusive wildlife like leopards or watching elephants as they move across the landscape. Enjoy a sundowner in the bush as the sun sets.
- 07:00 PM – 08:30 PM: Dinner at the camp.
- 08:30 PM onwards: Optional night game drive or evening by the fire.Choose to embark on a night safari to see nocturnal wildlife, or relax at the campfire. Overnight at Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp.
Day 3: Final Game Drive & Train Back to Nairobi
- 05:30 AM – 06:00 AM: Early wake-up and light refreshments.
- 06:00 AM – 08:30 AM: Sunrise game drive. One final chance to experience the wildlife at dawn, when animals are most active.
- 08:30 AM – 09:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp.
- 09:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Check-out and departure from the camp. After breakfast, pack up and say farewell to the beautiful Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp.
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Transfer to Voi Station. Enjoy a scenic drive back to the Voi SGR Station.
- 12:30 PM – 05:30 PM: Train journey from Voi to Nairobi. Relax and reflect on your safari experience as you journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
