3 Days, 2 Nights Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Maasai Mara & Afternoon Safari

07:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Departure from Nairobi (Wilson Airport).
- Fly from Nairobi to the nearest airstrip in the Maasai Mara (Ol Kiombo, Mara North, or Kichwa Tembo airstrip depending on the camp’s location).
- Flight duration: Approximately 1 hour.
08:30 AM – 09:00 AM: Arrival at Maasai Mara airstrip. Camp representative will meet you at the airstrip for a transfer to Soroi Luxury Migration Camp.
09:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Arrival at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp.
- Receive a warm welcome with refreshments and a briefing about your stay.
- Check-in to your luxury tent and freshen up.
12:00 PM – 01:00 PM: Lunch at the camp. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch with views of the Mara plains.
01:00 PM – 03:30 PM: Leisure and relaxation. Take time to relax after your journey, enjoy the camp’s amenities such as the pool or your private deck, or indulge in a spa treatment (if available).
03:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Afternoon game drive. Head out for your first Maasai Mara safari drive, seeking out the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant) and observing the rich diversity of wildlife. If visiting during the Great Migration, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing the plains. Sundowner drinks in the bush, watching the sun set over the iconic Mara landscape.

07:00 PM – 08:30 PM: Dinner at the camp. Relish a gourmet meal prepared by the camp’s chefs, with a blend of local and international dishes.

08:30 PM onwards: Evening relaxation. Unwind by the campfire, or stargaze from your deck. Overnight at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive & Cultural Experience

05:30 AM – 06:00 AM: Early wake-up and light refreshments.
06:00 AM – 09:00 AM: Sunrise game drive. Early mornings offer the best opportunity to spot predators in action. Explore different parts of the Mara, observing lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more. Optional visit to the Mara River to witness the Great Migration River crossings (seasonal).

09:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Return to camp for breakfast.
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Guided nature walk or relaxation. After breakfast, enjoy a walking safari (if available) with a Maasai guide, who will introduce you to the smaller wildlife and flora of the Mara. Alternatively, spend time relaxing in the camp or enjoy the pool.
12:00 PM – 01:00 PM: Lunch at the camp.
01:00 PM – 03:30 PM: Visit to a Maasai village (optional). Gain insight into Maasai culture by visiting a local village. Learn about their traditions, daily life, and how they coexist with wildlife.
03:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Afternoon game drive. Explore new areas of the Maasai Mara or revisit key migration spots. You’ll get another chance to observe herds of wildebeest and zebras, along with predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas. Sundowner drinks in the bush to conclude your evening.
07:00 PM – 08:30 PM: Dinner at the camp.
08:30 PM onwards: Relaxation or optional night game drive. Opt for a night game drive (if available) to see nocturnal wildlife, or relax by the fire. Overnight at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp.

Day 3: Final Game Drive & Fly Back

05:30 AM – 06:00 AM: Early wake-up and light refreshments.
06:00 AM – 08:30 AM: Final sunrise game drive. (Optional) One last opportunity to explore the wildlife-rich Maasai Mara, spotting animals during the peaceful early hours of the day.
08:30 AM – 09:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp.
09:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Pack and check-out. Say your goodbyes to the camp staff and prepare for your departure.
10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Transfer to the airstrip.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Flight back to Nairobi (Wilson Airport). Enjoy aerial views of the Maasai Mara as you fly back to Nairobi.
